We found out...

We are expecting a GIRL!!! I was pretty sure it was a girl. I was sick 4 weeks longer at the beginning and one week longer at the end of morning sickness, than I was with the boys. I am so glad those days are over. I remember the boys pregnancies being rather identical, and since this one was so different I was thinking it must be a girl this time. Her due date is April 13th. I am 18 1/2 weeks along now :)

Scott and I decided it would be fun to have the boys come along for the ultrasound. We were able to point out her head, tummy, hands and feet. They even got to hear her heartbeat. I really think they enjoyed being there. With the boys being older they are so much more involved and I am enjoying that. They are constantly giving the baby (or rather my tummy) hugs and kisses. Brycen always tells her not to come out yet. And Jacen reminds me how big I have to get before she is ready to come out. I am so grateful that the boys are at such a helpful age. They are learning to clean up their toys and are great at getting them selves ready for the day (of course I put their clothes out for them...but they do the rest). I am sure they are going to be great big brothers.

Here is a (not so flattering) picture of me from Saturday. I am at the stage where people are no longer afraid to ask if I am pregnant. Of course those that know me well, have been talking about my belly for a month now...but those that didn't know I was pregnant are now starting to ask.

Halloween Part 2

Of course we carved pumpkins :) I don't know that Brycen remembers much about this from last year. He took out a tiny bit of the gutts and then decided he was done. It took some convincing to keep him going.

Jacen was so excited to get started. He had been asking to carve pumpkins for days.

Here are the boys with their finished products. Bridella helped Brycen and I helped Jacen.

Jacen had a party at preschool. One of the things that they did was Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin.

We also went to the Trunk or Treat on Halloween. Some friends met us there. Here are Jacen and Brycen with Noah and Molly. The boys got tons of candy, and were so excited.

Halloween Fun

We loved Halloween at Sea World last year so much that we had to be sure to go this year. We went Saturday, October 8th. This year Jacen was a Fireman and Brycen was a Dinosaur. It was so cute because Brycen would say "Trick or Treat Roar" and so Jacen had to come up with something to say for a Fireman. He asked, "Mom Firemen are serious right?" Then he started to say, "Trick or Treat, Stay out of my Firetruck". We got a kick out of this.

Jacen remembered decorating cookies last year, so we were sure to do it again. Licking his fingers like his mother does.

I got to help Brycen. I didn't know frosting tasted so good
until I licked my fingers. This pregnancy has been so interesting with that, I don't know if I am going to like something until I try it. Sweets..I love sweets but I am not even wanting them. I ate all the extra frosting :) Yumm!!

We also enjoyed all the holiday shows :)
