Sea World

We love Sea World. Forget the fact that it takes us 2 1/2 hours to get there. Our passes are used tons. Here are some pictures of our different trips. Once we were even able to meet up with some friends, who also have passes.

The boys enjoying the new Turtle Reef. It is really cool! All the turtles here were born at Sea World, they also have lots and lots of tropical fish.

The kids favorite Summer show is still Cirque de la Mer...heavens, their favorite show at Sea World is Cirque de la Mer. When it isn't Summer the boys are constantly asking how much longer until it will be back. The Sea Lions tonight is a close second because of the fun pre-show of Biff dancing. I guess I have him to thank that my boys are always playing Justin Bieber's song Baby. They have some fun moves too.

Preschool Promotion

Jacen got to participate in graduation even though he has one more year of preschool. He has absolutely loved preschool. This is my son singing 5 Little Monkeys. I thought it was so cute, he gets his personality from Scott for sure. He said to me as we were watching the video, "look at how silly I am, look at my fingers." He would put fingers up on both hands to equal the number of monkeys jumping on the bed.

Here he is
with his achievement certificate :)

Prom 2011

With Scott being the ASB/Leadership Advisor at our high school, Prom is a huge deal. This was my third year going to Prom with my husband. I love being able to support him by helping him chaperon. It also gives me an excuse to find a new dress and dress up for an evening :) Thanks dad for coming up and watching the boys for us, we appreciate it!!

Spring Break

For Spring Break
we were off to Utah. We spent
Easter at Scott's sister Denise's house. We had a fun time coloring eggs, looking for eggs and enjoying our Easter Baskets :) It was a fun Easter Sunday.

Then we were off to my Sister Holly's house. She watched the boys while we went to the Temple. We returned to her with 3 boys on the counter helping make cookies. Too fun!!

We also met up with my brother Joey and his family at a yogurt shop. It was so fun. The boys were so loud that we moved outside to visit. They were so fun playing all together :)

We got to spend time with Scott's sisters Tekoa and Treana and their families, our friends the Elmers, and Scott had a guys night with some of his best buddies, but apparently we didn't get any pictures. Also on the way home we had dinner in St. George with my Aunts. Lets just say that I was pretty bad at taking pictures during this vacation. But the vacation was wonderful.

Easter at Preschool

After dropping Jacen off at preschool Brycen gets
to stay and play with a couple of his friends at the playground. One of the moms, Gloria, was sticking around to take pictures of the kids Easter egg hunt. We decided we would too :) Jacen's teacher even made Molly and Brycen little baskets of their own. Here is the only picture I got before the kids were given the "okay". (Jacen is the first person in the picture and Brycen is right behind Molly at the back)

The kids were instructed to find 10 eggs and then to sit down. Jacen was the only one to follow the directions :) The teachers had to go stop kids that had overflowing baskets.

Once again playing the Catch Up Game

I keep getting on here to post and then I get all caught up in looking at the pictures from the past few months. Lets just say that life has been busy and I am going to be posting a ton to catch you up on the happenings of the Phillips Clan :)

Disneyland

Every child has to experience Disneyland. Our boys got to on April 9th!!

We started with Buzz Lightyear. Jacen got more points than I did...for real, what is this world coming to?!?! (to my defense Brycen was needing help)
Then to Autopia where as Jacen says, "kids get to drive"

Got to meet Mickey (and Tigger and Eeyore)
Scott and I wanted the boys to experience the rollercoster in toontown first to see how the boys liked it...well...they loved it!!
Jacen got to ride just about everything. Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, (Splash Mountain was under construction)...but the ride he had his eye on was Matterhorn. You can see it from anywhere in the park. Both boys got to ride the Matterhorn and loved every minute!! Thankfully the park wasn't too packed and most rides had fast passes!!

We also enjoyed Dumbo

The Carrousel
and It's a Small World (which I didn't think Scott would ever go on...but he "did it for the boys"). It is so wonderful watching your kids experience life and new adventures.
